Grammar Review

Dear students,

In this post, I've included some links which will help you review some of the grammar points we studied in class. Here they are.

A) POLITE REQUESTS

B) FUTURE PERFECT

Formation: will have + past participle

Eg. I will have eaten my dinner at work before I come home tonight, so don’t bother making me anything.

You will have done your final exams by the end of next year.

-Can I come round to see you at 9pm?

-No, sorry. I won’t have finished my homework by then.

-How about 10pm then?

-Yes, I’ll definitely have finished by then.

Use:

  • We use the future perfect to say that something will already be complete at a certain point in the future.
  • We often use it to talk about achievements or deadlines
  • We often use it with ‘by’ or ‘before’ Exercises
